Need a free dress? This Mount Horeb native is helping girls feel confident at dances - Channel3000.com - WISC-TV3 |

University of Minnesota sophomore and Mount Horeb native Kylie Littel recently started Dresses on Wheels. The organization gives dresses away for free to girls who cannot afford a new dress for every event. In her mobile camper, Littel hosted a sale Saturday in Mount Horeb. She says she's happy to make a difference and help girls feel confident at dances. "There are definitely bigger problems in the world for sure," Littel said. "But I thought it was something I could help with, because when I was in high school, buying dresses for events can really add up." Littel said just through spreading the word in the community she received more than 100 dress donations within a week. Littel said those who are interested in donating or picking up a dress can contact her at dresses.on.wheels1@gmail.com. For more information, join her Dresses on Wheels Facebook group.
