Justin Bieber is the next celebrity that is being sued for posting a photo of himself on social media
E! News is reporting that the 25-year-old singer is being sued by photographer Robert Barbera has filed a lawsuit for copyright infringement against Justin.
The photo in question was one that he posted of him with pal Rich Wilkerson in a car back in March.
“Robert says that this action arises due to Bieber’s ‘unauthorized reproduction and public display” of the copyrighted photograph, which is owned and registered by Barbera,’” the site reports.
The documents add that “Barbera is the author of the Photograph and has at all times been the sole owner of all right, title and interest in and to the Photograph, including the copyright thereto.”
They also state that Justin did not “license the Photograph” from Robert for his Instagram page, nor did he have Robert‘s “permission or consent to publish” the photo on Instagram.
Earlier last year, Gigi Hadid went through the same thing for sharing an image on her own Instagram.
