Today's look is rather spontaneous one. Yesterday, I was doing my makeup as per usual, well actually doing my signature winged liner, but then decided to play it up a bit. It's one of the rare makeup blog posts that I don't have a tutorial for it. But my eyeshadow was so easy, that I feel like I can just explain it with words.
I used matte beige all over my lid. Then I added matte light brown in the crease and blended it a bit up. I darkened outer corner of the crease with matte reddish brown. On the rest of my lid I applied light gold shimmery shade. I did the same on my lower lash line. Then I did my usual winged liner and I decided to change it a bit. So I added three small dots at the end of the wing. I also put a piece of tape under my lower lash line and aligned it with my winged liner. Then I filled it in. At the outer edge I went really thin and towards the half of my eye, I went a bit thicker. I removed the tape and corrected my line. I also added dark matte brown eye shadow on the lower part of this line to make it a bit more diffused and less harsh. I added long and thick pair of false eyelashes.
On the rest of my face I used foundation, concealer and pressed powder. I applied a very light dust of bronzer all over outer edges of my face and sculpt a bit of my cheeks. For highlighter I went with shimmery champagne gold, but very lightly. On my cheeks I used coral shimmery blush with gold sheen, also very lightly.
For the lips I went bold. I know my graphic liner should be statement enough with the false eyelashes, but since my eye makeup color is so neutral, I felt like it needed a bolder lip color. So I used orange red lipsticks.
If you don't use the fake eye lashes, I think this is still a very wearable look. I would definitely wear it out. It's a twist on usual winged eyeliner. You can also just add dots without the double wing. What do you think about it?
