I picked up a few lip products. One of the products I kind of wanted to try was this one. Today’s review is all about I Heart Revolution Molten Chocolate Death by Chocolate. Read on to know more.

Infused with real cocoa these flavorsome shades smell of chocolate whilst being Smooth and comfortable wear, with long lasting formula with Vitamin E. Intense Liquid lipstick with high impact colour and finish. Available in 6 shades.

My Experience with Revolution Beauty I Heart Revolution Molten Chocolate Death by Chocolate:
The product comes in a cardboard package. It has all the necessary information on the box. You can see the normal melting design on the box. Once you open the box, you can see a dark chocolate colored squeeze tube with a black screw cap.
The color of the tube matches the shade. The tube is travel-friendly. Due to its dark color you can hardly read the information on the tube. They should have thought about it and mentioned it in lighter colors. Revolution does make dupes of several big brands and this one looks like the one from Too Faced.
‘Death by Chocolate’ is a dark oxblood red shade. It has dark purplish red shade to it which makes it look very bold. The smell is chocolatey but it feels very artificial. The smell stays only for a short period of time and fades away pretty quickly.
Once you open the cap. There is a white stopper which also has a foam applicator. There is a hole through which the lipstick oozes out and the soft application makes it easy to apply. The finish is opaque and semi-glossy. You can easily build up the shade.
The shade is amazingly pigmented. Just one swipe and you get a lot of color on the lips. The applicator helps in spreading the color on the lips very well. The applicator is not great when you need to apply to the corners of the lips. The product does dry down a bit but it stays wet and glossy for a long period of time.
The shade, being very dark, does last very long on the lips. The fading is even and even though it fades, it does leave a stain on the lips. The color stays on for a good 14 hours on my lips. Since it is a little wet, the product transfers easily.
The product doesn’t bleed but if you accidentally rub your hands against the lips, the color can get over your face. The product is lightweight and you can keep fixing it without looking weird. The product must be applied to well-exfoliated lips if not, it does accentuate the dryness on the lips.
I have pretty dry lips and you can see from the swatch that it looks very weird! The product also contains paraben which is a bummer. The product suits my skin well but, I would just use a little on my lips to get that pink color on my lips and I would wear it often. So, summing up

I would recommend if you want to try. I wouldn’t repurchase it as I am sure it would last long for me.
