Former JLS singer Oritse Williams has denied an allegation that he raped a fan in a hotel room after a concert.
Williams, 30, was arrested by police following a gig in Wolverhampton last week.
He has not been charged and was released by police on bail, pending further inquiries.
In a statement, his representatives from 10 Worlds Music UK said: "All we wish to say at this time is that Oritse denies the allegations against him.
"The matter is in the hands of the police and it would be totally wrong for us to comment any further."
West Midlands Police said they had been called to a Wolverhampton hotel at 7.45am on 2 December after an allegation of rape and sexual assault was made by a 20-year-old woman.
A force spokesman said: "A 30-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape and a 29-year-old man arrested on suspicion of sexual assault.
"Both men have been bailed until February, pending further inquiries."
Williams found fame on television talent show the X Factor in 2008 but has pursued a solo career since pop/R&B boyband JLS broke up three years ago.
